
Before transitioning to the nonprofit sector, she spent seven years managing integrated communications strategy and execution for a diverse roster of consumer goods, wellness, hospitality, and nonprofit clients with Scottsdale-based Fingerpaint Marketing, previously Olson Communications. From conceptualization, planning, and budgeting through strategic partnership development, key audience engagement, and task management, she worked with executives, program managers, strategic partners and vendors to help local, national, and international companies meet their business and fundraising goals.Â

Lynita began her career in the sports and entertainment industry with Phoenix International Raceway, the Arizona Diamondbacks, and Live Nation. While with the D-backs she built lasting relationships with on-field personnel and team executives, most notably facilitating player appearances, coordinating interviews and managing the credentialing process for the National League West 2007 Major League Baseball Playoffs. During her time with Live Nation, she managed all public relations efforts for local brand recognition and more than 85 events in Albuquerque, New Mexico; Las Vegas, Nevada; and Phoenix, Arizona. These events ranged in size from small club acts to major stadium productions such as U2’s highly successful 360 tour presented by Blackberry.Â

As a seasoned marketing and brand strategist with more than 20 years of experience in full-service agencies and internal marketing communications teams, Lynita excels at integrated marketing communications, brand strategy and reputation management, creative direction, change management, complex problem solving, account and project management, and resource allocation. She especially enjoys strategic problem solving, growth phases, delivering unique and authentic creative implementations, and establishing scalable processes, best practices, and revenue opportunities.Â

From 2019 to 2026, she led an internal marcom agency for the economic and community development nonprofit Local First Arizona. She was responsible for overseeing brand strategy development and compliance, creative asset development and storytelling, integrated marketing communications, public relations, and advertising for all organizational initiatives.Â
